COPENHAGEN: The LEGO Group recently revealed its latest Lego Creator Expert model – a Harley-Davidson Fat Boy that will be cruising into the global stores of the Danish toy production company on Aug 1.

Developed in collaboration with Harley-Davidson, this detailed LEGO interpretation of the iconic Milwaukee motorcycle captures the beauty of the real-life machine with finishes, surfaces, and design elements crafted to replicate the full-size motorcycle.

Featuring 1,023 pieces, the model comes complete with solid-disc wheels, teardrop fuel tank, integrated speedometer, and dual exhaust pipes and measures in at 330mm-long, 200mm-tall and 180mm-wide.

It features several moveable parts including the front handlebar, spinning wheels and even the engine's pistons can be seen in motion while the gear-shifter, brake levers and flip-down kickstand are operable.

The motorcycle is finished in a combination of authentic dark red and black colour scheme, just like on the 2019 Fat Boy motorcycle.

In celebrating the launch, Lego Master Builders went ahead and created a life-size model of the motorcycle, complete with chromed parts, Wi-Fi animation control, sound and light effects to imitate a real Fat Boy with 6,000 special LEGO elements.

The creation took 865 hours to build with 69,569 pieces and will be on display at select LEGO stores and Harley-Davidson events for fans to see.

The Lego Creator Expert Fat Boy model is available directly from LEGO Stores and shop.LEGO.com exclusively for LEGO VIP members from  July 17 onwards while availability for the general public begins on Aug 1.
