Held from Sept 1 to October 31, 2018, the contest celebrated Honda's 70th anniversary and the country's unity.
"It is the strong support of our customers that has enabled Honda Malaysia to be the top brand in the non-national segment for three consecutive years. We will continue the Joy of Buying to our customers to meet their demand for greater satisfaction," said Honda Malaysia president and chief operating officer Roslan Abdullah.
The two-month contest had 301 winners from a pool of over 4,800 submissions.
Besides the grand prize winners, there were 17 second prize winners who will get a Sony Blu-ray home cinema system each and 277 winners who will receive Honda official merchandise.
"This contest takes the lead from our tagline, and sought to find the most creative answer on how The Power of Dreams has changed the customer's way of life," said Roslan, who also pointed out that the City has maintained its market leadership in B-segment cars and it is the company's best-selling model.
This year, the City has contributed more than 30,200 units sold or 32% to the total Honda Malaysia sales from January to November, making it the highest sales unit contributor during this period.
The City offers a sporty silhouette with its many stylish features such as LED Headlights (V variant only) with LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL), LED Taillights (V variant only) and Dual-Tone Alloy Wheels.
It has a 1.5L i-VTEC engine, coupled with Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) developed under Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology.
The City is also known for its unrivalled interior spaciousness, and a 536 litre trunk space which is the largest in its class.
Safety features such as Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Hill Start Assist (HSA) and Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) are standard across all variants.
The City's prices start at RM73,836 (without insurance) and it comes in S, E and V variants.
