With an initial investment of RM26mil, the Cycle and Carriage Ipoh Autohaus now sports the latest Mercedes-Benz Retail Concept that provides sales, service, spare parts and spray paint services.
Sitting on a 2.5-acre land at 75, Jalan Kuala Kangsar, the facility is manned by 17 salespersons and 29 after salespersons.
With sustainability in mind, the latest Mercedes dealership in Perak has become the second one - after Johor Baru - to be equipped with a 72kWp solar photovoltaic technology as well rainwater harvesting system for general water use such as cleaning and grounds keeping.
The 55,200 sq ft facility is able to display up to nine vehicles on its 11,167 square feet showroom floor.
Among the facility's other services are aftersales, wheels and tyres as well as car detailing services.
The back of the dealership has 11 body and paint bays as well as 20 service bays that are able to handle up to 500 vehicles per month.
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia president and CEO Sagree Sardien said the new retail brand presence would continue to serve the growing Mercedes-Benz customer base in the northern region.

The Ipoh dealership is open from 8.30am to 7pm (weekdays), 8.30am to 6.00pm (Saturdays) and 11.00am to 5.00pm (Sundays).
