New Nissan Serena S-Hybrid attracts 2,500 bookings

KUALA LUMPUR: The new Nissan Serena S-Hybrid has recorded 2,500 bookings as of June 8.

Of that, 757 units have been registered in just four weeks after its official launch.

“Bookings for the All-New Nissan Serena S-Hybrid has demonstrated the great acceptance of our hot new model," said Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd (ETCM) sales and marketing director Christopher Tan.

Recently, to celebrate this achievement, a key handover ceremony was held at ETCM Jalan Raja Laut in Kuala Lumpur for Lokman Hakim Mohamed Yusoff, who took delivery of his new Serena S-Hybrid.

Also present were Tan and Nissan Motor Asia Pacific Co Ltd vice president (marketing and sales - Asia and Oceania) Vincent Wijnen.

The new Serena S-Hybrid has new features such as a first-in-its-class Intelligent Around View Monitor (I-AVM) with four cameras that provide a 360-degree bird’s-eye view of the vehicle, Intelligent Moving Object Detection (I-MOD) that detects moving objects surrounding the vehicle to alert the driver, hands-free dual power sliding doors that operate by a simple quick kick below the door to open or close, 7 USB-powered ports, dual back door that can be opened easily even in tight parking spaces, and six airbags.

Also, customers can enjoy the “Best Deal Ever 0% GST” campaign, offering GST at 0% plus Duit Raya Savings which translates to an on-the-road price without insurance of RM135,195.59 for the Premium Highway Star and RM123,874.84 for the Highway Star (Peninsular Malaysia), in June 2018.
