A new 2.0 litre Petrol Turbocharged Ingenium engine has been introduced for both variants. The twin scroll turbocharged petrol engine P200 produces 200PS and 320Nm of torque for the Evoque, while the Evoque R-Dynamicpushes out 249PS and 365Nm.
Both engines are mated to a nine-speed automatic gearbox.

The new Evoque boasts design updates such as the new slim LED headlights and taillights as well as flush door handles.
The new second-generation Range Rover Evoque has a longer wheelbase of 21mm adding more rear leg and knee room, as well as a larger glove box and centre console.
The luggage space is also 10% larger at 591 litres and much wider, which makes it possible to fit in a a set of golf clubs among other things. The space can be further increased to 1,383 litres when the 40:20:40 second-row seats are folded.

Standard equipment for both variants include an All-Wheel Drive with Driveline Disconnect technology and the Land Rover InControl Touch Pro Duo infotainment system combining two sleek 10-inch high-definition glass touchscreens and a 12.3-inch driver display behind the steering wheel.
The R-Dynamic variant features more exterior enhancements such as the burnished copper accents on the front and rear bumpers, as well as front fender inserts. Also included is the ClearSight Rear View Mirror and ClearSight Ground View technology.
“The Evoque is now smarter than ever. The software that sits behind our infotainment system has been refined to provide a more intuitive customer experience. On top of that, we’ve added Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for seamless smartphone integration,” said Executive Director, Product Engineering of Jaguar Land Rover, Nick Rogers.
Other features include the Meridian Sound System with 11 speakers including a subwoofer and the safety feature, Lane Keep Assist.
In conjunction with the launch, Jaguar Land Rover is offering RM3,000 worth of accessory vouchers, that can be used to purchase the new Evoque original accessories, for a limited time only.
All Land Rover vehicles distributed by authorised dealers come with a Land Rover Care programme,which is based on whichever comes first: a 5-year warranty or 150,000km, 5-year servicing or 65,000km and 3-year Roadside Assistance.
