Prices start from RM63,900 and the motorcycle is available at Triumph outlets in Petaling Jaya, Penang, Johor Bharu and Kota Kinabalu.
The Tiger 900 is 5kg lighter than the earlier Tiger 800 model and gets a more responsive 888cc triple-cylinder engine.
Variants are:
>Tiger 900 Rally and Rally Pro – Designed for off-road adventure with road-focused capability,
> Tiger 900 GT and GT Pro – Designed for urban adventure and long-distance traveling, and
> Tiger 900 – Base model.
Key highlights include:
> 10% more torque than the Tiger 800 model, peaking at 87Nm at 7,250rpm,
> Category leading acceleration,
> Large 20-litre fuel tank.
Additional features available on selected variants are the new class-leading 7-inch TFT instrument panel, My Triumph connectivity system, six riding modes of Rain, Road, Sport, Rider, Off-Road and Off-Road Pro, and new Triumph Shift Assist.
