PETALING JAYA: Nine Perodua cars were destroyed after a transporter caught fire on the North South Expressway on Friday.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant operations director Mohd Sani Harul said firemen were sent to the location at Km400 after being alerted at about 10pm.
"Six Axia, two MyVi and an Alza were totally burnt in the incident. There was no casualty," he said. The blaze was brought under control an hour later.
