SHANGHAI: Electric car maker Nio has revealed the first product created in partnership with gaming hardware brand Razer: the Nio ES6 Night Explorer Limited Edition Vehicle, a high-tech Razer-styled electric SUV.

While the model's design is recognisably Nio and has been built on the Nio ES6 Performance Edition, the Razer trim dresses the SUV up in carbon fibre decals, green calipers, Razer logo and trim, and adds a custom emblem to the rear.



Naturally, such a game hardware-inspired car would not be complete without Razer's Chroma and Hue Lights and THX Spatial Audio, features that have been integrated with the tech already existing within the model.

In terms of performance, all specs match that of the Nio ES6 Performance Edition: power output of 544hp and 0 - 100kph acceleration time of 4.7 seconds.

Only 88 units of this model — available for purchase in China now — will be created priced at 467,800 yuan (RM279,000).
