KUALA LUMPUR: The first round of "The Great Nissan Buy 1 Win 1" campaign saw six winners who each won a new Nissan car.
The campaign was launched by Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd (ETCM) in September 1, 2014 and ran till October 31, 2014.
With more than RM888,888 in prize value, the Nissan models up for grabs were the new Teana 2.0XE and 2.5XV, new Sylphy 1.8E, and Serena S-Hybrid.
In December, key handover ceremonies were held at Nissan showrooms in Malacca, Kedah, Sabah, Penang, Sarawak and Kuala Lumpur, to present the winners with their new Nissan cars.
The winners are Raziff Suhairi Shabaan, who bought a Teana 2.5XV, and won a Serena S-Hybrid; Kelvin Ong Wei Chong, who bought an Almera and won a Sylphy 1.8E; and Aidasuzana Md Arshad, who bought a Grand Livina 1.6L, and won a Serena S-Hybrid; Arnizah Kasbulah who bought a Sylphy 1.8VL, and won a Teana 2.0XE; On Keur Li who bought a Serena S-Hybrid, and won a Teana 2.5XV; and Luhat Jok, who bought a Navara and won a Sylphy 1.8(E).
For Aidasuzana, it was a case of double happiness as she not only won a Serena S-Hybrid, but is also expecting her fourth child.
"I bought the Grand Livina because its specifications and space fit my growing family. Thanks to ETCM, I now have an even bigger car, with the price of one!”, said the first-time Nissan owner from Jitra, Kedah.
Meanwhile, 26-year old On Keur Li was thrilled beyond words when she found out she had won the Teana 2.5XV.
“I had always dreamt of having a 7-seater MPV, and fell for the Serena S-Hybrid because it was a hybrid car, that provided practicality and comfort. And now I have an additional Teana which is such a premium car."
ETCM product planning and marketing director Tan Keng Meng said, "This campaign has received overwhelming response, and it was very exciting for us to be able to give more to our customers and to see the joy on the faces of the winners upon receiving the keys to their brand-new prizes. We also look forward to be able to announce winners of Round 2, which will happen very soon - so good luck to all participants!”
As for the second round of the campaign, it ended on December 31, 2014 and winners will be notified at the end of January 2015.
