HANOI: Nissan Vietnam Co Ltd, Nissan's joint venture with Tan Chong Motor Group, has launched the all-new NP300 Navara pick-up in Vietnam.

Vietnam is one of the first countries to receive the left-hand drive NP300 Navara from Thailand, which ultimately will be exported to countries worldwide.

Nissan expects this new generation of Navara will play an important role in Vietnam where total industry volume has grown more than 88 percent over the past three years and is expected to grow another 40 percent by 2017.

“Nissan continues to expand our network and to improve quality for better customer satisfaction in Vietnam together with Tan Chong Motor Group,” said Toru Hasegawa, corporate vice president of Nissan Motor Co Ltd. and president of Nissan Motor Asia Pacific (NMAP).

The NP300 Navara delivers a smooth and very comfortable drive, partly thanks to NASA-inspired Zero Gravity Seats that reduce fatigue by distributing body pressure through the seating.

The fuel-efficient NP300 Navara includes several first-in-class premium features.

Among them are advanced LED Daytime Running Headlamps, rear spoiler for improved aerodynamics, smart vehicle access with Intelligent Key, Push Button Ignition, and dual-zone air-conditioning system with pollen filter and rear ventilation for backseat passengers.
