LONDON: Boutique British supercar company Noble is debuting its latest ultra-quick coupé, the M600, at this week's inaugural show.

The car, which has been in development for five years, is powered by a 4.4-litre twin turbocharged V8, courtesy of Yamaha, meaning a maximum output of 662bhp to the rear wheels.

And because the car is just 1,198kg, it boasts a power-to-weight ratio of 558bhp per tonne, hence its ability to hit 100kph from standstill in 3.5 seconds and 0-200kph in 8.9 seconds.

As well as a new car, Noble will be demonstrating a new form of ownership via its partnership with Super Veloce Racing (SVR) who will now serve as the company's sole sales and serving outlet in the UK and Europe and a direct link between clients and cars.

SVR will help perspective owners spec their cars to suit their driving characteristics and to ensure vehicles remain in A1 condition.

The London Motor Show opens its doors to the press on May 5.
