KUALA LUMPUR: The Perodua Bezza has received the Best Child Occupant Protection and Best Adult Occupant Protection awards, both for small family car category, at the Asean NCAP Grand Prix Awards today.
"These two awards are a recognition of our efforts to always place our customers' safety and comfort in our products," said Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd (Perodua) president and chief executive officer Datuk Dr Aminar Rashid Salleh.
On July 16, the Bezza was also given a five-star rating by Asean NCAP, making it the first five-star enhanced environmentally friendly national sedan.
The Bezza is Perodua's 11th model and the first energy efficient sedan with new technology and safety features such as vehicle stability control, traction control and brake assist.
