PETALING JAYA: Perodua is aiming for its new flagship Perodua Sentral 3S centre to set new standards in providing quality service and customer satisfaction.

The first-of-its-kind in Petaling Jaya’s Section 19, was officially opened today and offers a one-stop centre for a variety of services including a mini Road Transport Department counter to facilitate new vehicle registration.

Built and furnished at a cost of RM36mil, the new centre also has Pre-Owned Vehicle service to help customers trade in their vehicles for a new Perodua.

“Perodua Sentral is the personification of our transformation initiatives to become globally competitive.



“The building is equipped with facilities which are the best we have to offer so far,” said Perodua president and chief executive officer, Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh, at the centre’s launch by International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed.

The new multi-level centre which has a build-up area of 15,700 sq m, has an upmarket feel interior and  showroom that can display up to nine cars.

The centre, which is also the headquarters for company’s central region sales and service operations, is equipped with 37 service bays and can handle 3,000 intakes per month.

Other facilities include a cafe, an Internet lounge, a mobile device charging station and an automated teller machine.

Also present at the launch were Perodua chairman Tan Sri Asmat Kamaludin, Road Transport Department director-general Datuk Seri Ismail Ahmad,and Daihatsu Motor Corp director Masahiro Fukutsuka.
