TAIPING: Nasim Sdn Bhd, the official distributor for Automobiles Peugeot in Malaysia, opened its latest outlet in Taiping and is the third outlet within the state of Perak.

The other outlets are Peugeot Ipoh (Jul 2010) and Peugeot Ipoh Garden (Dec 2014).

Nasim chief operating officer Datuk Samson Anand George said that it was because of Taiping’s current significant infrastructure development and the state being the brand’s fastest growing market that it was decided to open a third outlet.

The new outlet is a 9,000 sq ft 3S (sales, service and spare parts) centre and comes equipped with customer lounges, a Peugeot boutique and complimentary Wi-Fi.

“Through our after sales network expansion and the introduction of several new models, we intend to grow our sales volume in 2015, with a sales target of 6,000 cars in which is in line with MAA’s forecast of a 2% increase in new vehicle sales,” said Samson.

Peugeot Taiping is the first of five outlets planned for launch in 2015.
