The store will be located in Montreal, Canada, thanks to a partnership created with Groupe Park Avenue. The next steps for the company will be selecting the precise physical location and deploying new marketing efforts.
"We believe that after more than 60 years in business, this addition to our brand portfolio will excite our customers and help accelerate the shift towards electrification," said Group Park Avenue president and CEO Marc Stevens.
This store will be the second dedicated Polestar showroom following the first in Oslo, Norway, which is expected to open this month.
Three additional locations are expected to open in the country including in Stavanger, Bergen, and Trondheim, though little more is known about the progress of these possibilities.
Polestar CEO Thomas Ingenlath had previously stated that the company has plans to open 60 such locations in the near future.
Polestar Montreal is slated to open in 2020 followed by more in Toronto, Vancouver, and the United States.
