Porsche 360 Financing introduced

KUALA LUMPUR: Sime Darby Auto Performance, the official importer and distributor of Porsche vehicles in Malaysia, has introduced it latest Porsche 360 Financing programme to help make owning a sports car from Stuttgart, Germany an easier one.

Potential Porsche owners must take note that although the programme applies to all Porsche vehicles, it does not  include the special limited edition models or those that bear the 'GT' badge.

The programme is an alternative to conventional financing by promising lower monthly instalments and flexible terms for better cash flow management.

Within the third to fifth year prior to the end of the financing programme, owners are able to trade-in their vehicle for a new model with the same badge or refinance the loan amount.

Additionally, the programme claims that it will help to enable better savings via lower monthly repayments compared to conventional hire purchase financing.

Those who opt for the programme can choose three financing periods of three, four or five years for their preferred Porsche.

Afterwhich, an assured resale value will be established based on the model and specifications of the vehicle.

At the end of the financing term, owners will have three options.

The first option is to trade in the vehicle at any authorised Porsche Pre-Owned Centre at the assured resale value, which will be upheld as long as the vehicle in question is serviced at any of the three Authorised Porsche Service Centres in Kuala Lumpur or Penang.

The company also assures that the programme has been structured in such a way that the remaining loan amount is generally lower than the assured resale value of the vehicle and the balance payment could go towards the down payment of another new vehicle for a fuss-free transition.

The second option allows customers, from the third year onwards, to extend the financing programme for their vehicle or to terminate it by settling the outstanding amount in full.

Or simply return the vehicle without any additional commitments as the last option.
