The next appearance of the new Macan will take place at Porsche Centre Penang (June 28 to 30) and at Publika Shopping Gallery in Kuala Lumpur (July 5 to 7).
The new Macan will carry a price tag of RM455,000 including all applicable duties (except registration, road tax and insurance) and will be accompanied by a four-year warranty with free maintenance package (including parts and labour).
Additionally, it is available under the 360 Finance calculator with repayments starting from RM5,700.
Also, this mid-sized German luxury sport utility vehicle can be had in four colour choices of Mamba Green Metallic, Dolomite Silver Metallic, Miami Blue and Crayon Red.
It also adds on the Comfort Lighting package (full-LED bulbs), Power Steering Plus (speed-sensitive electromechanical power steering system), Park Assist (auto-parking function) with reverse camera, electrochromic mirrors and a Bose Surround sound system.
All that twist is managed by a seven-speed Porsche-Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (Porsche dual-clutch gearbox) that allows it to sprint from 0 to 100kph in 6.7 seconds and onwards to a top speed of 225kph.
Equipping the new Macan is its newly designed three-dimension rear LED light panel, LED headlights, and fully interconnected Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system with a 10.9-inch (+3.7-inches) touchscreen. A Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus that distributes light adaptively is available as an added cost option.
Porsche says that the Macan's chassis has been overhauled to increase comfort while rolling on staggered tyres with wheel options ranging from 18 to 21-inches (with 265/40 front and 295/35 rear tyres).
Expanding the range of equipment for the new Macan (as an added cost option) are the GT sports steering wheel (much like in the 911), mode switch integrated into the steering wheel with sport response button (part of the optional Sports Chrono package), heated windshield and an air ioniser (with standard fine particle air filter) to name a few.
