SHAH ALAM: In tandem with Proton’s business model with the objective to provide a new enhanced customer experience, the national carmaker has launched its first 4S (sales, service, spare parts and spray paint) facility in Shah Alam.

The upgraded facility, operated by Setia Gemilang Auto, sits on a two acre land and provides 50 carpark lots for customers, while sporting a new refreshed look that is the standard for all service outlets.

Inside, the showroom area is able to fit up to 11 cars for display while customers have access to its lounge facility, a coffee area and children's play area.

The rear houses the service area, which has been equipped with 14 service hoists as well as 12 body and paint bays.

The launch of the upgraded facility is part of Proton's plan to upgrade its outlets nationwide to a total of 109 outlets of 3S and 4S status by October.

So far, the local carmaker is currently two months ahead of schedule to achieve its 75% completion mark  with 82 outlets upgraded as at May 31.

"Customers who enter the outlet will be able to enjoy the comfortable waiting lounge while waiting to service their cars. We care for our customers’ needs and we want to emphasise that customer satisfaction remains our key priority,” said Proton chief executive officer Dr Li Chunrong.

With the launch of the new 4S outlet, Proton is inviting consumers to check out its most popular model - the Saga, which is now available from just under RM30,000 and is being touted by the local carmaker to be the best offer in the last 10 years while being in conjunction with its Duit Raya promotion and zero-rated GST.
