KUALA LUMPUR: Radiographer Amir Hafizi Abdul Halim drove away with a brand new Mercedes-Benz C200 Avantgarde after winning the Petronas-Visa Swipe and Win contest this year.
The father of four, in his 40s, said he was doubtful when he first received word that he had won because of the many scams around.
“It wasn’t until March 17 when I received an e-mail from Petronas that I was sure I had won.
“This is really a good day. Not only did I win the car but it was presented to me by AMG Mercedes Petronas Formula One driver Nico Rosberg,” he told reporters at the Mercedes-Benz NZ Wheels Autohaus in Bangsar yesterday.
Amir Hafizi, who already owns a Toyota Avanza and a Proton Saga, said he would use his new car to get to work at the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital in Klang.
