The RM479,800 Z4 roadster, introduced only last year, is capable of hitting the 0-100kph mark in just 5.4 seconds.
The contest by the BMW dealer ran for six months from July last year, drawing over 3,000 entries.
Wong's daughter had bought an X1 for him as a surprise gift on Aug 13 last year, qualifying the 73-year-old for entry into the contest.
His name was picked in a lucky draw by Quill Group executive director Datuk Michael Ong at its BMW dealership here on Saturday.
Wong, who attended the prize-giving ceremony with his wife, was elated at his win and immediately called his daughter and other family members to inform them of the good news. "I wasn’t planning on attending the ceremony, but I’m so glad I decided to show up,” said Wong, who lives in Setia Alam, Shah Alam.
“My family and I have been loyal customers to Quill Automobiles for many years, and this once-in-a lifetime experience really makes our loyalty worthwhile.”
Second prize Winner Millie Yap and third prize winner Angeline Kwan took home a cabin-size Tumi luggage worth RM2,690 and a VIP dining experience at Le Petit Chef by Elements KL worth RM1,998, respectively.
