The new V6 TDI engine is able to produce 213bhp from 3,250 to 4,750rpm and 500Nm of torque from 1,250 to 3,000rpm – while mated to an eight-speed tiptronic automatic transmission.

Modifications have been applied to the new Q7 and include the water pump, oil cooler and combustion process to name a few.

The new Q7 is now 325kg-ligtetr than its predecessor, with 213bhp available from

Weighing 325kg-ligtetr than its predecessor, the new Q7 has had its weight shaved off from areas such as the suspension and drivetrain components to the body panels.

The most notable savings were made in the multi-material body-in-white, which is 71kg lighter than before, in the all-aluminium doors which strip away 24kg and in the chassis with its sophisticated new five-link suspension – now subtracting 67kg.

At this point, the Q7 is able to sprint from 0-100kph in just 7.3 seconds before reaching a top speed of 216kph.

Standard specifications includes MMI Navigation Plus with an 8.3-inch electrically retractable monitor MMI Touch, Audi connect, Audi drive select, keyless go, parking system plus and powered tailgate.

The S-line versions are fitted with all-weather LED headlights, 20-inch alloy wheels, privacy glass and S-line styling enhancements.

Other optional extras include Audi Virtual Cockpit, adaptive air suspension and all-wheel-steering.

The adaptive air suspension is managed by a self-locking differential that sends 40% of power to the front and the rest to the rear under normal driving conditions, but it can send 70% of power to the front as well as 85% to rear.

With all-wheel-steering, low speeds sees the front and rear wheels turn in opposite directions to increase manoeuvrability, while at high speeds the rear wheels turn with the front by up to 3.5 degrees for better steering response and stability.

The S-line adds front sports seats upholstered in pearl Nappa leather and Alcantara as well as privacy glass.
