Select Mitsubishi showrooms and service centres are now operational

PETALING JAYA: Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM), the official distributor of the brand in Malaysia, has announced that the majority of its showrooms and service centres have begun operations since May 4.

Customers are advised to call in advance to check on the operating days and hours of the showrooms and service centres, as well as to secure a prior appointment.

For the safety of its customers and outlets, the company has implemented several guidelines nationwide for those visiting its showrooms

These include temperature checks for all prior to entry, hands must be sanitised at the entrance of the showroom, face masks must be worn by all (including staff) and social distancing must be observed.

Furthermore, its showroom facilities, as well as test-drive and display vehicles, will be frequently sanitised.

For those visiting the company's service centres, appointments must be made in advance and walk-ins will not be entertained.

The company advises customers to leave vehicles at the service centre and return to collect once it is ready.

During servicing, the seat and steering wheel will be covered and then disposed of prior to sanitising and handing the vehicle back to customers.

“The health and safety of our customers and staff remain our utmost priority. While these measures are in place, our team is committed to ensuring that there will be minimal disruptions to our business and service delivery to our customers," said MMM chief executive officer Tomoyuki Shinnishi.

Shinnishi added that they will continue to closely monitor any developments to the current situation in the country in order to strengthen their precautionary and preventive measures to ensure utmost safety is attained for its customers.
