Shell to give away 500 bottles of Advance AX7 motorcycle engine oil

KUALA LUMPUR: Shell is looking to give back to bikers and bike mechanics via its #OutrideAnything campaign and gets ready to give away 500 bottles of its Advance AX7 semi-synthetic engine oil to bikers.

To receive a free 1.0-litre bottle during the campaign period (from June 27 until July 11), participants will need to log on to a dedicated site and answer a simple quiz correctly to be in the running.

The company boasts that the Advance AX7 semi-synthetic engine oil is able to enhance fuel economy and reduce maintenance costs.

Additionally, it also has the ability to a bike achieve better mileage by as much as 36km per full tank of petrol.

For those who purchase a 1.0-litre bottle of the oil from a participating workshop, they will receive a free bandana (while stocks last).

Meanwhile, as more bike workshops reopen, more than 2,000 local bike mechanics are set to benefit from the Shell Advance Masterclass training programme.

Now in its fourth year, the programme is a unique learning and certification initiative aimed at upskilling bike mechanics and workshop owners.

The programme comprises of a series of online videos developed in collaboration with renowned MotoGP master mechanic Jeff Oh to guide and provide mechanics with knowledge and tips on proper motorcycle maintenance.

The interactive modules are delivered to participants via visits to workshops by the Shell Advance team and through demonstration videos on the Shell Advance Masterclass website.
