Named after the wind that blows across the Mediterranean, Maserati's sport utility vehicle gets an even more potent concoction in the form of the Levante GTS.
The 3.8-litre (3,798cc) twin-turbo 90-degree V8 engine is capable of producing a whopping 530PS at 6,250rpm and a massive 730Nm of torque from 2,500 to 5,000rpm.
With the use of an eight-speed automatic, this GTS variant - weighing in at 2,170kg, is capable of sprinting from 0 to 100kph in 4.2 seconds before reaching a top speed of 291kph while drinking from its 80-litre fuel tank.
The GTS gets the V8-specific front grille with a chromed frame and piano-black blades along with a lower honeycomb mesh fascia for its sports bumper.
The rear end is fitted with matte-black surrounds for its dual twin exhaust tips along with an extractor in matching body colour among others.
