THE C4 Picasso, which is an embodiment and expression of Citroen’s expertise in automotive technology and design, has gotten even better.

Local Citroen distributor, Naza Euro Motors, has re-adjusted the pricing for this stylish multi-purpose vehicle.

The new on-the-road prices are RM144,613 (Exclusive variant) and RM125,164 (Seduction variant) – both packaged with a five-year warranty and unlimited mileage.

An exclusive year-end promotion for the Seduction variant is currently ongoing while stocks last.

Under this promotion, the Seduction variant will be offered from as low as RM109,800.

The C4 Picasso is built on the PSA Peugeot Citroen’s Efficient Modular Platform 2 (EMP2) that is weight-saving and allows for better fuel efficiency.

This cutting-edge platform also allows for longer wheelbase for increased interior space.

While the C4 Picasso appears compact on the outside, the MPV is quite roomy inside.

The side signature, a chrome C-shape and sculpted panels lend the side view of the C4 Picasso its personality.

The front end marks a renewal in Citroen styling, with a more assertive engine compartment and a new look for the chevrons, reaching out to touch the spectacular high-tech lights.

Slim LED daytime-running lights extend the line of the radiator grille, sitting just on top of the slender headlamps.

This is complemented by the rear LED lights which feature a profound, futuristic 3D effect.

True to its créative technologie tagline, the C4 Picasso comes with a full digital driving interface that is both intuitive and attractive.

The two screens on the centre of the dashboard – a 7-inch touchpad and a 12-inch panoramic HD screen – give the C4 Picasso a sci-fi feel.

Its long list of features such as the Park Assist System, Active Cruise Control, front and rear parking assistance, dynamic cruise control, reversing camera, Lane Departure Warning System, Blind Spot Monitoring System and driver’s seat with electric massage function and adjustable lumbar support make driving a pleasurable experience.

The C4 Picasso also comes with Hill Start Assist and the Electronic Stability Programme which consists of Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBFD), Electronic Brake Assistance (EBA) and Electronic Stability Control (ESC) with Traction Control.

Other features include six airbags, automatic handbrake, automatic activation of hazard warning lights in case of rapid deceleration, ISOFIX and active seatbelt safety system.

Powering the C4 Picasso is a 1.6-litre direct injection engine with a twin-scroll turbocharger that produces 165PS with 240Nm of torque.

The new THP 165 engine has a fuel efficiency of 17.3km/l, 10PS more powerful than the previous 1.6-litre turbo engine and lower CO2 emissions at 130g/km.

Matched to a six-speed automatic gearbox, the C4 Picasso accelerates from rest to 100kph in 9.3 seconds and has a top speed of 210kph.

With such performance, driveability is easily one of the key strengths of the C4 Picasso.
