The Hilux range is priced from RM87,200 to RM130,900.

Innova
Toyota Innova 2.0X - 01
The popular Innova multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) range gets a new 2.0X top-grade variant, with styling based on the crossover concept.

Chrome trim at the front adds elegance to the bold and tough look with a chrome-finished spoiler below the front and rear bumper.

Viewed from the side, the wheel arches are integrated with overfenders which gives a crossover feel.

Chrome black moulding along the window sills provide highlights along the sides for a further elegant touch.

At the rear, there is a refined lower back and back door garnish.

The Innova 2.0X also gets premium black leather upholstery, LED headlamps with automatic levelling, Daytime Running Lights and front foglamps and 17-inch rims with 215/55 tyres.

Also on the Innova 2.0X are powered 8-way driver’s seat and second row Captain’s Seats which provide business-class comfort with retractable cup holders, a seatback table and individual armrests.

Blue LED lighting with adjustable variable brightness is fitted along the ceiling, front and rear.

Just like the Innova 2.0G, the 2.0X variant also has a automatic dual air-conditioning, retractable door mirrors with puddle lamps and a DVD-AVX infotainment system with an 8-inch display, reverse camera, smartphone and Bluetooth connectivity, wifi capability, internet browser, voice recognition, HDMI output and USB ports.

Rear air vents bring cool air to the occupants in the second and third rows.

The Innova 2.0X and 2.0G also have a Smart Entry and push-start ignition system.

Other Innova variants use dark high-quality fabric upholstery, and 16-inch alloy rims with 205/65 tyres.

All Innova variants have automatic headlamps, a Follow-Me-Home function, and a variable cabin layout to suit different requirements, whether there is a need to carry more luggage, long items or up to 7 persons.

Like other Innova variants, the 2.0X variant is powered by a 2.0-litre 1TR-FE Dual VVT-i petrol engine which outputs 139PS at 5,600rpm with a maximum torque of 183Nm at 4,000rpm.

This goes to the rear wheels of the vehicle through a 6-speed automatic transmission, with Super ECT logic for better shift response, and three Drive Modes – Normal, Eco and Power – can be selected.

The Innova’s double wishbone front suspension and 4-link rear was optimised by Toyota engineers for enhanced ride comfort on all road surfaces.

All Innova variants now qualify for a maximum 5-star Asean NCAP rating for adult occupant protection, thanks to the now standard fitment of Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) with Traction Control, Hillstart Assist Control and Emergency Stop Signal.

Also, all variants are now equipped with seven airbags, ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution and Brake Assist, and ISOFIX child seat points.

Optional accessories include the Panoramic View Monitor and Digital Video Recorder (DVR).

Customers wishing to upgrade their infotainment system to include route navigation can specify the DVD-AVN system.

Owners of the Innova 2.0E can upgrade to the DVD-AVX system.

Customers can also choose either Toyota Premium Security & Solar Film which also prevents glass break-ins or Toyota Essential Solar Film for just reducing sunlight and heat transmission only.

Fortuner

Toyota Fortuner 2.4 VRZ - 01
The Fortuner range has been expanded with the addition of two new variants – the Fortuner 2.4 VRZ in 4X4 and 4X2 drive system.

Over 25,000 units of the model have been sold since the first generation was launched, making it a popular 7-seater SUV in Malaysia.

The new variants maintain the design theme of ‘Luxury & Prestigious’ which combines a tough image with refined and sophisticated styling, giving the Fortuner a more premium appearance.

Of note is the ‘floating roof’ concept which is achieved by applying a black finish on all the side pillars.

This creates a visual effect of a continuous panel of glass along the sides, with the roof ‘floating’ above.

Except for the Fortuner 2.4 4X4, all variants are equipped with Bi-LED projector headlamps with automatic levelling, LED Daytime Running Lights and foglamps, which give stronger illumination while consuming less energy.

As a premium SUV, the Fortuner has puddle lamps on the door mirrors to illuminate the ground, LED turn indicators, automatic headlamps, and a Follow-Me-Home function that keeps the headlamps on for 30 seconds after the engine is switched off.

In the cabin, there are high-quality materials such as soft synthetic upholstery, metallic accents and woodgrain finish on some trim elements.

Optitron meters (originally developed for the Lexus luxury brand) are in the Fortuner 2.7 SRZ and two new Fortuner VRZ variants.

A powered driver’s seat is found in the Fortuner 2.7 SRZ and two new Fortuner VRZ variants, which also come with paddle shifters for gear changes, Cruise Control, keyless entry, push-start ignition, automatic air-conditioning, and a powered rear door.

The Fortuner 2.7 SRZ has a DVD-AVN infotainment system with six speakers, a large 8-inch touch screen display, MP3 compatibility, USB port, SD Card Slot, Bluetooth, HDMI and smartphone Connectivity, Voice Recognition, rear-view camera and navigation system.

The two new Fortuner VRZ variants get a DVD-AVX system with similar features (excluding the navigation system).

There are also two USB ports for charging personal devices directly (up to 2.1A), which complement the 12V power outlet.

As before, the Fortuner range has two engine choices – a 2.7-litre petrol engine with Dual VVT-i (Fortuner 2.7 SRZ) and a 2.4-litre diesel engine with a Variable Nozzle Turbocharger (VNT) and intercooler (Fortuner 2.4 VRZ 4X4, 4X2 and 2.4 4X4).

The maximum output of the petrol engine is 166PS at 5,200rpm with 245Nm of torque at 4,000rpm while the diesel engine produces 150PS at 3,400rpm and 400Nm of torque between 1,600 and 2,000rpm.

The large 80-litre fuel tank provides greater travel range.

Both engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, and three Drive Modes – Normal, Eco and Power – can be selected.

The Fortuner 2.7 SRZ and the new 2.4 VRZ 4X4 variants have Active Traction Control (A-TRC) and Downhill Assist Control.

The latest Fortuner is capable of achieving up to a maximum of 5 stars in the Asean New Car Assessment Program (Asean NCAP).

All-round disc brakes, anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD), brake assist, trailer sway control and ISOFIX points for child seats are among the safety systems fitted.

For the Fortuner 2.7 SRZ and two new Fortuner VRZ variants, there are also seven airbags, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Hill-start Assist (HAC).

Hilux
Toyota Hilux - 01
For the past 12 years, the Hilux has been the best-selling pick-up truck in Malaysia, with sales volumes equal to the combined volumes of the next two rival models in some months.

The popularity of the model is not surprising because it has gained a solid reputation for reliability and durability.

Over the years, the Hilux has also received more passenger car-like features and comfort as well as stylishness – but without losing the legendary ruggedness and capabilities in challenging terrain.

The current eighth-generation Hilux, with six variants, recently got major upgrades which enhance off-road performance, convenience and safety.

The flagship Hilux 2.8G gets LED headlamps, Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) and front foglamps and also Downhill Assist Control (DAC) to make driving down a slope easier, especially on steep and slippery terrain.

Other variants continue with halogen bulbs for the headlamps and DRLs.

All variants have automatic headlamps and a ‘Follow Me Home’ function.

The interior of the Hilux was designed with the concept of “Tough and Emotional”, featuring a black colour scheme.

For the Hilux 2.8G and 2.4G with automatic transmission, leather upholstery is standard while for the other variants (except the Hilux Single Cab), fabric is used.

The Hilux Single Cab has PVC material which is more suited for tough usage.

Meanwhile, for the G variants, two USB charging ports (2.1A) have been added to complement the two standard 12V power outlets on the dashboard.

Other new features for the Hilux 2.8G include automatic climate control, cruise control and extra air conditioning vents to cool rear passengers.

Previously only available in the Hilux 2.8G and 2.4G AT variants, the Hilux 2.4G MT variant now comes with Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Hill-start Assist Control (HAC) and Trailer Sway Control, together with the Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) which will flash the hazard lights in the event of sudden hard braking.

This also means that all Hilux G variants have been awarded 5-stars by Asean NCAP for the Adult Crash Protection.

Both the Hilux 2.8G and 2.4G AT have seven airbags.

Optional accessories for the Hilux pick-up truck include a Sports Bar, Bedliner, Solar and Security Tinting Film, Portable Tyre Pump, Tailgate Assist and the new Panoramic View Monitor.

Infotainment systems can also be upgraded to the DVD-AVN unit which includes GPS route navigation and a rear-view camera.

For those needing an extra dose of style, the TRD Aerokit package can also be added.
Owners can also choose the new Tough Package, which combines a front bumper underguard with overfenders and a roof ornament to give the Hilux a bolder outlook.
