KUALA LUMPUR: Motor Image Malaysia, the official distributor of Subaru vehicles in Malaysia, is offering attractive prices on the locally-assembled Subaru Forester 2.0i and 2.0i-P with limited units available at all Subaru showrooms nationwide.

The new Forester made its Asian debut at the 2016 Bangkok Motor Show, which we got to drive and was launched in Malaysia soon after that.

Now, it's on promotion for its unregistered units that were used for launches, roadshows and showroom display units - priced on-the-road with GST without insurance from RM119, 800.

There are five colour options of Pure White, Ice Silver Metallic, Sepia Bronze Metallic, Dark Grey Metallic and Obsidian Black Pearl available for choice.

The new Forester 2.0i and 2.0i-P variants feature a 2.0-litre FB20 Horizontally-Opposed Boxer engine capable of providing 150PS at 6,200rpm and 198Nm of torque at 4,200rpm.

The car also features a symmetrical all-wheel drive (AWD) system to help provide better stability as well as traction in wet and muddy conditions.

The Forester is built on the ring-shaped frame and comes equipped with a reinforced frame for better cabin protection.

There's also seven airbags, a five-year factory warranty and three years free service from the date of registration.
