Several Subaru dealers have resumed partial service centre operations since April 27, providing service maintenance, minor repairs, and vehicle breakdown services for the MCO (movement control order) period.

As part of the requirements set by the authorities, customers are not allow to wait at the service centres.

They are to send in their vehicles and pick them up after the service job is completed. They are also discouraged from bringing their children. Their vehicles will be thoroughly sanitised before and after each job.

At the same time, safety measures, such as thorough sanitising of work areas, temperature-taking and use of surgical masks, hand sanitisers and disinfectant sprays, have been implemented at Subaru showrooms and service centres nationwide to curb the spread of Covid-19.

Visitors must provide their details upon entry to facilitate contact tracing. Those with body temperatures of 37.5 degree Celsius and above will not be allowed to enter.

To ensure the safety of its customers, TC Subaru is also introducing a "test drive at home" initiative. Upon request, its sales staff can now bring the customer’s Subaru of choice to his or her home.

This lets the customers experience the vehicle, while practising social distancing. All vehicles are thoroughly sanitised before and after each test drive, and sales staff are equipped with hand sanitisers and face masks.
