Rolls-Royce Black Badge speaks to the darker, more assertive, confident and demanding aesthetic of these customers. As a truly Bespoke response to their desires, the interplay of brand and customer has had a transformative effect on the appearance and substance of Rolls-Royce Wraith.

Already the most powerful Rolls-Royce in the world at 624hp, the Wraith now benefits from 70Nm more torque, tweaked air suspension, an upgraded eight-speed gearbox and extra boost from the two turbochargers helps the 6.6-liter V12 engine to more spirited driving.

The badges have silver script on a black background instead of the normal reverse colour scheme. The Spirit of Ecstasy sculpture perched atop the radiator is also now black, a first for any factory Rolls.

The exhaust outlets are painted black, too, and new 21-inch wheels are partially constructed of carbon fiber, continuing the black-and-silver color scheme.

The car presented at the recent Goodwood Festival of Speed is finished in Black Badge Black, with the interior in Black and Mugello Red contrast leather, and the facia in aerospace-grade aluminium-threaded carbon fibre composite surfacing.

Lapping the car on the track has been described as such 'The Wraith is a sledgehammer between corners and easily reaches triple digits on the track’s short front straight'.
