SHAH ALAM: UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd is currently running a “Toyota Hilux Buy & Win” contest in a move to delight its customers further.

The contest which runs from now until December 31, gives private individual customers who purchase the All-new Toyota Hilux a chance to win big.

Throughout the campaign, all customers have to do is purchase a Hilux to automatically qualify for the contest. The grand prize is the recently launched Toyota Sienta 1.5V worth RM99,900 (on-the-road with GST and insurance).

The compact MPV made its debut in August and is Toyota’s first passenger car-based seven-seater model to be introduced in this market.

It has a highly efficient packaging that provides great functionality with plenty of space for people and their gears.

Apart from the grand prize, three customers will also stand a chance to win a consolation prize, which is a five days four nights all-expense paid trip to Tokyo, Japan for two persons.

Additionally, for every test drive of the new Hilux, customers will also be entitled to receive free Toyota merchandise - while stocks last, as well as a cash rebate of up to RM4,000 for those who purchase a Hilux for a limited period of time.

The promotion is available at all UMW Toyota Motor branches, including its authorised dealers nationwide, but only for those who register their vehicle for private use within Peninsular or East Malaysia.

The Hilux is equipped with the Japanese car maker's new 2.4 and 2.8-litre turbo diesel engines that the company touts to provide stronger low-end torque delivery, better response for acceleration, greater reliability and improved fuel efficiency.

Both engines are mate to a  six-speed manual or electronically-managed automatic transmission.

The Hilux models come with a five-year or 150,000km warranty (whichever comes first) and is transferable to the next owner if it is still valid at the time of transfer of ownership.
