SHAH ALAM: In the recent J.D. Power 2015 Malaysia Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI), UMW Toyota Motor scored 791 points – ranking the highest and scoring well above the industry average of 752 points.

The study examined six key factors that contribute to the overall customer satisfaction with their new-vehicle purchase in the mass-market segment and included the salesperson, dealer facility, delivery timing, deal, delivery process and sales initiation.

It was found that Toyota performed well in the majority of these criterions after taking into account the reactions of 2,371 new-vehicle owners in the mass-market segment that purchased their vehicle between Aug 2014 and May 2015.

The win for Toyota makes it the company’s third consecutive title.

According to UMW Toyota Motor deputy chairman Akio Takeyama, he said that such milestones help to inspire in delivering quality products and a meaningful experience with the brand.

“The title does not merely state our leadership position, but more importantly, it is a testament of our commitment to serve our customers, providing them with an enjoyable experience that is uniquely Toyota,” said UMW Toyota Motor president Datuk Ismet Suki.
