Two more highways added to TNG eWallet’s toll payment service

PETALING JAYA: Drivers can now pay toll using the Touch 'N Go eWallet at two more highways, the Kemuning–Shah Alam Highway (LKSA) and Smart Tunnel.

The app connects with up to three Touch ‘n Go (TNG) cards so drivers can instead use the credit in their e-wallet to pay for toll, while the value on the card is not billed. All the associated cards will have the same top up value as the e-wallet.

Users will still have to use the physical cards, and not their smartphones, when entering toll lanes with TNG or SmartTag to start payment.

When introduced last December, the TNG card feature could only be used at toll booths across the Duke Highway 1 Plaza Tol Batu, Plaza Tol Ayer Panas and Plaza Tol Sentul Pasar, as well as Duke highway 2 Plaza Tol Segambut and Plaza Tol Sentul Pasar Tambahan.

TNG is planning to roll out the function on most highways, starting with those in the Klang Valley including the Damansara-Puchong Expressway (LDP), New Pantai Expressway (NPE), Maju Expressway (MEX), and more.

No timeline was given on which highways would be added next.
