SHAH ALAM: UMW Toyota Motor recorded strong sales in June 2023, at 8,559 units for Toyota and 110 units for Lexus.
Combined total sales for June thus reached 8,669 units, surpassing the 8,004 units recorded in May 2023.
The company's first half saw a total of 48,659 units sold, which was 6% higher than the 45,911 units in the same period last year.
In June, the company also unveiled the new Toyota Innova Zenix, in both hybrid and non-hybrid variants.

This launch marked a significant milestone in the company's unwavering commitment to carbon-neutrality and sustainability.

Meanwhile, the 6th season of the GR GT Cup Malaysia will start on July 15, 2023 with the finals on August 19 and 20.
The premier online racing series in the country, organised by UMW Toyota Motor, offers cash prizes of RM90,000.
Notably, the GR GT Cup Malaysia holds the distinction of being the first and only eSports motor-racing event organised by a Malaysian car company.
UMW Toyota Motor has also introduced promotions for the month of July.
In July, the Toyota Yaris is offered with monthly instalments as low as RM628, along with promotional benefits worth up to RM5,490.
The new Toyota Vios is available at monthly instalments as low as RM688.
The new Toyota Zenix is offered with monthly instalments as low as RM1,476.
