KUALA LUMPUR: Carsome has entered the e-commerce platform to sell used cars through a collaboration with Shopee.
The collaboration makes Carsome the pioneering company to sell used cars on an e-commerce platform.
According to the Carsome, all listed vehicles, complete with car specification details and multi-angled photos, are Carsome Certified.
All Carsome Certified cars passed a 175-point inspection, have not been in major accidents and do not have structural or flood damage.
The vehicle will be accompanied by a one-year warranty and a five-day money-back guarantee.
Additionally, Shopee users can purchase an RM500 cash-voucher at the special promotional price of RM199 and use it to pay for the down payment of their selected cars.
Budding owners of a pre-loved vehicle can currently browse through a selection of vehicles at Shopee.
“We are proud to work with Shopee, who have been very supportive in our endeavour to reshape and elevate the used car buying experience through digitalization,” said Carsome Co-founder and Group CEO Eric Cheng.
Additionally, there are new and on-going promotions such as exclusive Carsome merchandise for the first 100 test drives.
There's also the Trade-In Discount Program where customers who have previously sold their cars to Carsome will enjoy a RM500 discount when they purchase a car from Carsome.
Lastly, the Refer-A-Friend Promotion will have successful Carsome car buyers and their invitees - who also bought from Carsome, both receive a combined cash reward of up to RM800.
