More value with updated Hyundai Elantra

SHAH ALAM: The facelifted Hyundai Elantra has 14 new improvements and sharper looks.

It is slightly longer compared with its predecessor, and has newly-designed front bumper, radiator grille, fog lamps as well as redesigned alloy-wheels and rear combination lamps.

There are four variants, and prices are RM85,888 (1.6 Elegance), RM95,676 (1.6 Executive), RM100,546 (1.6 Premium) and RM114,984.40 (1.8 Premium).

The Premium variants get LED light guide and projection headlamps, and six airbags.

Meanwhile, the 1.6-litre Executive and both Premium variants also get an upgraded 3.4-inch OLED (organic light-emitting diode) display, Flex Steer system, rear air-conditioning vents and MirrorLink audio visual receiver.

"Apart from maintaining the great features of the previous Elantra, we have fitted additional advanced features into the facelifted model,” said Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors (HSDM) managing director Lau Yit Mun.

The Elantra also has safety features like an ultra-high tensile strength body, ESC (electronic stability control), ABS (anti-lock braking system), VSM (vehicle stability management) and HAC (hill-start assist control).

It is available in Creamy White, Carbon Grey, Phantom Black, Sleek Silver and Tomato Red.

From March 5 to April 5, 2015, customers who buy the Elantra 1.8 Premium will be offered a free three-year service or 60,000km (with 10,000km service interval), whichever comes first.

HSDM offers a 5-year or 300,000km (whichever comes first) warranty on all its new passenger vehicles.

A 24-hour road assist service is also available.
