"Apart from maintaining the great features of the previous Elantra, we have fitted additional advanced features into the facelifted model,” said Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors (HSDM) managing director Lau Yit Mun.

The Elantra also has safety features like an ultra-high tensile strength body, ESC (electronic stability control), ABS (anti-lock braking system), VSM (vehicle stability management) and HAC (hill-start assist control).

It is available in Creamy White, Carbon Grey, Phantom Black, Sleek Silver and Tomato Red.

From March 5 to April 5, 2015, customers who buy the Elantra 1.8 Premium will be offered a free three-year service or 60,000km (with 10,000km service interval), whichever comes first.

HSDM offers a 5-year or 300,000km (whichever comes first) warranty on all its new passenger vehicles.

A 24-hour road assist service is also available.
