KUALA LUMPUR: The Volkswagen Passat is now offered in two improved Plus variants, namely the Trendline Plus at RM144,990 and Comfortline Plus at RM169,980.
The Passat Trendline Plus get leather seats, 17-inch Istanbul alloy wheels, and window tint worth RM8,000.
The Passat Comfortline Plus receivea upsized 18-inch Monterey alloy wheels and window tint, valued at RM12,000.
Till September 30, 2017, the Passat PLus is offered with a special interest rate from as low as 0.88 per cent on hire purchase loans of five to nine years.
The entire Passat range, including the Plus variants, also comes with 5-year free maintenance, or 75,000km (whichever comes first) with registrations by September 30, 2017.
The Passat Plus variants are powered by a 1.8-litre turbocharged TSI engine with a 7-speed direct shift gearbox (DSG) with 180ps and torque of 250Nm between 1,250 to 5,000rpm, and fuel consumption rated at 5.7 litres per 100km.
Features include start/stop function, regenerative braking, electric parking brake with auto hold function and with 3-zone climatronic air conditioning for comfort.
Safety features include six airbags, driver alert system and front fog lights with cornering light functions.
