KUALA LUMPUR: Volkswagen Group Malaysia has shared a few tips for this festive period as some of us take on the annual migration home for the Raya festivities and enjoy the wonderful company of family, friends and food.

The German carmaker would like to encourage everyone travelling during this festive season to travel smart with a few important tips to help enjoy a happy, smooth and safe journey.

The tips include  servicing your vehicle before making the trip, ensuring the fuel tank is full, checking the travel timetable to plan your route and avoid the jam, packing snacks, using the Touch 'n Go lanes to beat the queue and always remember to wear your seat belt.

But, for those without a card, from now till July 31, a limited edition Volkswagen Touch ‘n Go card will be given to those who book a test drive online at their nearest dealership.

And, in order save more time and spend it with family, the company has urged everyone to use the recommended best travel time as proposed by PLUS (below).

In addition, Volkswagen is offering budding new owners the opportunity to save up to RM54,000 and be an owner of a brand new Volkswagen vehicle.

From now till July 31, the Polo Sedan, Jetta, Tiguan, Passat and Volkswagen CC are available with zero downpayment and zero interest for up to 7 years.
