KUALA LUMPUR: Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has announced a new event happening for 'folks' looking for a new vehicle with a VW roundel.
The company's first Volkswagen Tour of the year will be kicking off this week at the 1Utama Shopping Centre from Feb 19 to 23.
The event will be located at the Centre Court, Ground Floor (old wing) and will run from 10am until 10pm daily with plenty of attractive rebates for all.
On display will be the crowd favourite and iconic Beetle, as well as the Vento, Tiguan, Golf R-Line, GTI and the star of the show - the new Passat Elegance that was launched earlier this year.
The new Passat is considered to be a benchmark within its class and boasts of an updated 2.0-litre TSI engine.
This D-segmenter happens to be the first front-wheel driven VW model in Malaysia to come with a new seven-speed wet clutch dual-speed gearbox (DSG).
Other new highlights include new front and rear lights and an entirely new infotainment system.
Test drive sessions for the new Passat Elegance and Tiguan will be made available at the Tour's venue.
Visitors who place a booking at the event will receive an additional RM1,000 petrol cash voucher on top of existing rebates.
