This follows the government decision to set the GST rate at 0% from June 1 ahead of the re-introduction of the Sales & Services Tax.
Honda’s Completely Knocked Down (CKD) models namely Jazz, Jazz Hybrid, BR-V, City, City Hybrid, HR-V, Civic, CR-V and Accord will see a reduction in prices ranging from RM4,088 to RM9,573. Prices of Completely Built Unit (CBU) models such as the Odyssey and Civic Type R will also go down by RM14,362 and RM18,072 respectively.
“In addition to the post zero-rated GST pricing, customers who buy selected Honda models will also be entitled to receive attractive ‘Welcome Festive Rewards’ starting from June 1,” said Honda Malaysia managing director and CEO Toichi Ishiyama.
The company also said spare parts, service maintenance and accessories would also be zero rated from next month.
