In addition to its desirable looks, CarSifu lists five features that make the Cooper S 5-Door enjoyable.

1.  Go Kart Feeling
Although the MINI’s gotten bigger and subsequently heavier, it hasn’t lost that driving excitement with its sporty front struts and multi-link rear suspension setup. It also has adaptive dampers that adjusts to the driving mode - more compliant in Green mode and stiffer in Sport mode.

2. Easy Entry and Exit
MINI’s definitely grown in size and all we can say is that we’re loving it. Thanks to the larger dimensions, the addition of two more doors means that the front passenger won’t necessarily need to know how to perform the twist when letting passengers in or out.

3.  Practicality
With the added dimensions, there’s more leg-room for rear seated passengers, including clearance for their head and shoulders. Not to mention, there’s more room to manoeuvre and fit a child seat on the rear bench with ISOFIX. Even the boot has gotten more accommodating at 278 litres, but if that’s not enough then fold the rear seats down flat to increase space by 941 litres.

4. More Power
The five-door MINI gets a bigger engine - a 2.0-litre BMW engine that’s capable of 189bhp from 4,700 to 6,000rpm and 280Nm (300Nm overboost) of torque from 1,250rpm onwards, that’s mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and allowing it to dash from standstill to 100kph in 6.8 seconds and onwards to a top speed of 230kph.

5. Lifestyle
Regardless of lifestyle, the MINI somehow finds a way to fit itself into our lives, or better yet it may even help to fill it up, thanks to its joyful driving experience and colourful play of colours, which evidently comes in an array of interesting metallic colours such as Deep Blue, Electric Blue, Thunder Grey, Iced Chocolate and White Silver.
