SEPANG: The GT Radial Champiro SX2 tyre demonstrated its performance and impressed spectators at the inaugural Gymkhana Auto X Series 2013, which was recently held at the paddock parking area at Sepang International Circuit.



The gymkhana motorsport skills competition was sponsored by PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk, the largest integrated tyre manufacturer in Asean, and organised by Sync Optima Sdn Bhd.



With front wheel drive, rear wheel drive and all-wheel drive categories up for grabs, the competition's drivers demonstrated the Champiro SX2 tyres' phenomenal control and grip as they vied for top honours.



The media and invited guests test drove cars fitted with the Champiro SX2 tyres, and were also treated to thrilling circuit hot laps piloted by GT Radial sponsored drivers who were competing at the MegaLap Time Attack Round Two.












Gymkhana Auto X Series 2013 is scheduled to have three more events this year.



In a statement, GT Radial said its sponsorship of circuit racers for the Gymkhana Auto X Series 2013 was a testament of its confidence in the superiority of the Champiro SX2 tyre.
