SHAH ALAM: UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) has unveiled the Toyota Yaris G Limited that is enhanced with sportier looks and performance.
Limited to 600 units and drawing inspiration from Toyota's extensive history in motorsports, the G Limited variant comes with on-the-road without insurance price of RM99,600.
The G Limited variant's performance add-ons over the standard Yaris model are stiffer shock absorbers, chassis brace, cold air intake and throttle controller.
The stiffer shock absorbers reduce body roll to improve tyre grip and steering precision while the chassis brace enhances overall vehicle stiffness for better driving dynamics.
Meanwhile, the cold air intake system feeds the engine with cold air that has higher oxygen density to achieve higher combustion efficiency while the throttle controller improves pedal input to output ratio for more engine responsiveness, higher acceleration and over-taking performance.
The G Limited also gets an aerokit with red highlights, two-tone black roof, wing mirrors and rear roof spoiler for a more eye-catching styling.
