The new BMW 4 Series Coupé now further sets itself apart with stylistic features that carry the promise of a powerful presence on the road, stand-out dynamic ability and driving pleasure in abundance.
The most notable change to the new BMW 4 Series, however, is in its engines. Each variant now houses the new BMW B48 engine, an all-new aluminium inline-four cylinder engine, critical to the premium automaker’s new modular engine family.
Alongside each engine is the multi-award winning BMW TwinPower Turbo technology, which teams up with an eight-speed sports automatic transmission.
The new BMW 420i Coupé is a 2.0-litre petrol engine that delivers a maximum output of 184hp with torque peaking at 270Nm; enabling the new sports coupé to sprint from 0 to 100kph in 7.5 seconds at a top speed of 236kph.
The new BMW 430i Coupé produces 252hp and a maximum torque of 350Nm. This translates into just 5.8 seconds in sprint time from 0 to 100kph at a top speed of 250kph.
Under the hood of the new BMW 430i Gran Coupé is a powerful 2.0-litre petrol engine delivering superb dynamic performance – a maximum output of 252hp with torque peaking at 350Nm and an acceleration time from 0-100kph of just 5.9 seconds.
