The showroom, opened on Thursday, will be the first to implement the new Volvo Retail Experience – an important next step in Volvo’s journey as a luxury marque.
Costing more than RM10mil and spanning an area of 16,685 sq. feet, the showroom will uphold global standards and feature the latest product and service offers by Volvo. As part of the Volvo Retail Experience, it will also improve aftersales, giving more emphasis to customer service.
The new showroom is a stone’s throw away from the previous building which has been converted into a service area.
Inspired by Scandinavia, the new showroom features plenty of natural light streaming through from the large windows, lending warmth and creating a comfortable atmosphere for customers. The showroom was specially conceptualised as a ‘living room,’ featuring chic Scandinavian-designed furniture, free Wi-Fi and delectable Swedish cakes and coffee.
The new “living room” concept will take up 40% of the showroom, while 60% is dedicated to a contrasting “street” displaying area showcasing Volvo’s new car range.
