PLANO, Texas: The 2026 Toyota Tundra gets an array of updates and enhancements.
The Capstone grade now offers a revamped interior with Shale Premium Textured leather-trimmed seats, providing an upscale touch to the cabin.
The Limited grade will transition to leather-trimmed seats in both black and grey, showcasing a new pattern with black leather seat surfaces featuring white stitching and grey leather seat surfaces adorned with black stitching.
All Tundra models will be equipped with a 122-litre fuel tank, eliminating the smaller petrol tank option.
A tow hitch and 7/4 pin connector will now be standard on all models, including the SR grade.
The TRD Pro can now be ordered with optional ISO Dynamic seats, similar to those found in the Tacoma TRD Pro, enhancing comfort for off-road enthusiasts.
Additionally, power running boards will be available on Platinum and 1794 TRD Off-Road Package models, providing added convenience.

The SX Package will now come with a 20-inch wheel.
Double cab models will now feature air vents on the rear centre console and all grades with single-zone climate control will now get the smartflow management system.
All-new for 2026 model year is the colour Wave Maker, which is only available on TRD Pro grades.
The Tundra offers impressive powertrains: a twin-turbo V6 engine and a hybrid twin-turbo V6. Both engines team with a 10-speed Electronically Controlled Automatic Transmission with intelligence (ECTi).
The 10-speed features a sequential shift mode, uphill/downhill shift logic and TOW/HAUL driving modes.
The i-FORCE, twin-turbo V6 uses DOHC 24-valve cylinder heads and Dual VVTi systems to yield 389 horsepower and 649Nm of torque.
The i-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrain is available with 437 net combined horsepower at 5,200 rpm, and an impressive 790Nm of torque at a low 2,400 rpm.
The i-FORCE MAX combines the twin-turbo V6 with a motor generator with a clutch located within the bell housing between the engine and 10-speed automatic transmission.
The motor generator provides additional power through the transmission, while the engine start-up, EV driving, electric assist and energy regeneration are done via the hybrid components.
