KUALA LUMPUR: GWM Malaysia has unveiled the Tank 500 HEV (hybrid electric vehicle) Black Edition, which is a new variant billed as taking premium ruggedness to a darker, more distinctive level.
Priced at RM336,800, the Black Edition carries a modest premium of RM8,000 over the standard Tank 500 HEV (RM328,800).
The blacked-out design enhancements include darkened headlamps, front grille, rear bumper lower guard plate, rear bumper protector, door handles, 20-inch alloy wheels, electric side steps, window trim, roof rail and emblem, as well as garnishes for the front bumper, fog lamp, tail lamp and back door.
GWM Malaysia said the result is a visually striking SUV (sport utility vehicle) that blends premium craftsmanship with an unmistakably bold attitude.
The Tank 500 Black Edition retains its 2.0-litre turbo hybrid powertrain, delivering exceptional performance both on and off the road.
