Honda CR-V Dual-Tone Edition: Only 300 units

PETALING JAYA: Honda Malaysia has unveiled the CR-V Dual-Tone Edition, a limited-run variant with only 300 units.

In a statement, Honda Malaysia said the exclusive edition celebrates a remarkable 25-year journey in Malaysia, honouring the strong bond between the brand and customers.

It is priced on-the-road price without insurance at RM169,900 (E variant) and RM181,900 (V variant).

The CR-V is Honda Malaysia’s longest-standing model, and this marks the first time a dual-tone exterior is offered.

The refreshed look features a sleek black finish on the roof, side pillars and side mirrors.

The Dual-Tone Edition is available in two colour options, Ignite Red Metallic and Platinum White Pearl.

Honda has achieved many firsts with the CR-V over its 25-year journey in Malaysia.

In 2003, the CR-V became the first model to be locally assembled at the Melaka plant.

Since then, close to 149,000 units have been sold.

Each generation has been strategically equipped with features and advanced technologies that reflect evolving customer needs and mobility trends.

In 2013, the fourth generation CR-V was launched during Honda Malaysia’s 10th production anniversary milestone, setting the benchmark as the “Premium Smart SUV (sport utility vehicle)”.

The fifth generation CR-V was launched in 2017, becoming the first in Southeast Asia to offer Honda Sensing in an SUV and to feature a 1.5-litre VTEC turbocharged engine.

The latest sixth generation CR-V, launched in 2023, introduced the e:HEV RS variant, marking the first locally assembled mid-size SUV hybrid in Honda Malaysia’s line-up.

This generation continues its market success as one of the most sought-after SUVs with more than 11,300 units on the road and a commanding 36% (mid-size SUV segment) market share in 2024.
