SUNWAY: Zeekr Sunway, the first authorised dealer for Zeekr, announced its top 10 finalists of the Zeekr Owner's Appreciation Rewards Draw 2025 where the grand prize was a fully electric Zeekr X Premium sports utility vehicle (SUV).
"The rewards draw is our way of expressing appreciation and celebrating this milestone together with our community," said Sunway Trading and Manufacturing chief executive officer Yeoh Yuen Chee.
The draw was also held to commemorate the first anniversary of Zeekr Sunway, since October last year. Winning the grand prize of a Zeekr X Premium was 36-year-old Tong Wei Lun, who purchased a Zeekr 009 all-electric multipurpose vehicle (MPV).
The MPV is currently available in three guises, priced (on-the-road without insurance) starting at RM299,800 for the entry-level seven-seater Executive, followed by the Luxury (seven-seater) at RM349,800 and the range-topping Ultra-Luxury (six-seater) at RM359,800.
Meanwhile, the Zeekr X fully-electrified compact SUV is available in two variants and is priced similarly at RM155,800 for the Premium variant, while the Flagship AWD model goes for RM172,800.
"A friend of mine in China happens to have one (a Zeekr 009), and I managed to experience it while visiting him," said the food and beverage business owner.
Tong added that after arriving home, he read up on more reviews about the 009 before finally deciding to purchase one.
"Right now, I am shocked and surprised that I now have two Zeekr electric vehicles at home<" said an elated Tong.
Second prize winner, Lai Weng Fei, was presented with a three-day, two-night stay at The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat.
"I am definitely bringing my family on this trip," said Lai, who now drives a Zeekr X, his very first electric vehicle (EV), after upgrading from a Honda City.
The 29-year-old remiser added that he wanted to try something new, and the Zeekr X managed to impress in terms of design, performance and driving experience.
Third-prize winner was Suria Wahida Mohamad Arshad, who collected a two-day one-night stay at Sunway Resort Hotel, on behalf of Suria Cleanergy Sdn Bhd, which purchased a Zeekr 009.
"I am very honoured to be able to receive this prize on behalf of the company," said the senior administrative executive, who added that the purchase of the vehicle was in line with the company's ESG (environmental, social and governance) efforts.
The remaining seven finalists each received a Zeekr Sunway Service Centre cash voucher worth RM1,000 – bringing the total collective prize value up to RM200,000.
To ensure full transparency and compliance, audit firm BDO Malaysia was appointed as the official audit partner to verify eligible entries and supervise both draw stages on-site and ensure strict adherence to campaign rules and official guidelines.
The campaign was launched on July 18 during the opening of the Zeekr Space Sunway City – a RM10mil state-of-the-art showroom.
The draw is a gesture of appreciation to those who purchased and took delivery of a Zeekr vehicle between Oct 1, last year and Sept 30 this year.
The vehicles include the Zeekr 009 (three entries), Zeekr 7X (two entries) and the Zeekr X (one entry).
During the campaign period, 800 participants were shortlisted over two draws, which culminated in the 2025 Rewards Draw finale.
"Achieving over 1,000 deliveries (as of November, 2025) in just a year underscores the deep confidence our customers have in the Zeekr brand, and as we continue to expand our facilities and customer touchpoints, we remain firmly committed to delivering a seamless and truly premium EV ownership experience in Malaysia," concluded Yeoh.
