Maxim e-hailing reduces partner-drivers’ fuel expenses

KUALA LUMPUR: Maxim e-hailing, via its order management system, allows partner-drivers to select and accept orders based on their preferred location and schedule.

In a statement, Maxim Malaysia said this enables partner-drivers to manage their routes strategically, reduce fuel consumption, and increase their income.

This flexibility helps them plan their journeys more effectively, ensuring every trip contributes both to personal convenience and additional earnings.

“By allowing drivers to manually select their orders, we empower them with greater control over their routes and working schedules. This flexibility helps them plan their trips more efficiently, save on fuel costs, and avoid unnecessary mileage,” said Maxim Malaysia director Mohd Hazwan Musley.

Many part-time drivers, for instance, accept passenger requests along their regular commuting routes, such as on the way to or from their workplaces, optimising their travel time and minimising fuel expenses.

This system allows drivers to maximise productivity without the need for additional travel solely to complete orders.

“As a part-time driver, Maxim’s platform is very practical and convenient for my lifestyle. I usually pick up passengers on my way to work in the morning and again after office hours. It allows me to earn extra income without having to make unnecessary trips or spend additional fuel. I can plan my route according to my schedule and still make productive use of my travel time,” said Maxim partner-driver Rikiputra Busyra.
