Mazda sheds more light on new CX-90
By CARSIFU | 23 January 2023LOS ANGELES: Mazda is reeling out more teasers of the CX-90 ahead of its Jan 31 world premiere.
The most recent was a video teaser revealing the exterior and the face of the CX-90, which looks similar to that of the CX-60. And we are also given a glimpse of the interior that is still masked in shadow.
The video covered the performance of the new large size SUV and suggests it will come with sporty performance as a result of its front-engine, rear-wheel drive and Kinematic Posture Control system taken from the MX-5 Miata.
An earlier teaser video on Jan 17 revealed that the three-row SUV would be powered by a turbocharged 3.3-litre inline-six petrol engine producing 340hp 500Nm of torque
Mazda had said this mass production gasoline engine would have the highest horsepower and torque it has ever developed.
It also promised the CX-90 would be an engaging driving experience with a rewarding exhaust note, while also featuring a mild-hybrid system for efficiency.
